In juli 2017 bestaat London Calling officieel 25 jaar. Dit wordt op 27 en 28 oktober gevierd in Paradiso Amsterdam. Door de jaren heen stonden onder andere Tame Impala, The Libertines, Blur, Florence + The Machine, Franz Ferdinand, Mac DeMarco, Slowdive, Placebo, The Kooks, Kaiser Chiefs, White Lies en Two Door Cinema Club vroeg in hun carrière op London Calling.
De volgende London Calling in Paradiso is op vrijdag 27 en zaterdag 28 oktober 2017.
Het popfestival London Calling, dat twee keer per jaar plaatsvindt in Paradiso, begon in 1992 als showcasefestival voor de nieuwste beloftes uit Groot-Brittannië. Tegenwoordig biedt London Calling aan nieuwe, spraakmakende alternatieve bands uit het de hele wereld een podium, als springplank naar clubs en festivals. Op het festival hebben al heel wat namen gestaan die later doorbraken bij het grote publiek, zoals: Foster The People, Florence and the Machine, Bombay Bicycle Club, Friendly Fires, The XX, Blur, The Kooks, Editors, Bloc Party en The Libertines.
