De Britse indie-rock band Razorlight is weer terug. Na 10 jaar afwezigheid verschijnt er op 26 oktober een nagelnieuw album. De langspeler heeft de titel Olympus Sleeping meegekregen. Met maar liefst 4 nieuwe tracks – zie onder – werd de aankondiging gedaan.
Johnny Borrell, de band’s frontman, zegt hierover: “We’ve been away for a long time and wanted to give more to the fans than just one single. I’m really excited about the album and really excited about doing Razorlight again.”
Alle 4 tracks geven perfect weer waar Razorlight altijd goed in is geweest, namelijk het schrijven van liedjes met ijzersterke en super aanstekelijke melodieën en met de energie van een stel enthousiaste jonge honden.
Borrell vervolgt: “Olympus Sleeping is everything we always loved about Razorlight – the electric energy of the first album, the pop-rock craftmanship of the second and the lyrical ambition of the third.”
