De Britse indierock band Amber Run heeft afgelopen vrijdag hun nieuwe album Philophobia aangekondigd. Deze derde langspeler verschijnt op 27 september. Eerder die maand, namelijk op de 19e, zijn ze te zien in de Melkweg, Amsterdam.
Tegelijk met de albumaankondiging, heeft het drietal de single Affection uitgebracht.
Frontman Joe Keogh zegt hierover: “I hope after people have heard the record they feel closer to the band. Gone are the days where we feel angry to the point of pushing people away. We want to draw people in and keep them close. In the hope we could have a shared experience.”
