Black Honey, een van de snelst groeiende rockbands uit Engeland, kondigde hun langverwachte gelijknamige debuutalbum aan. Deze eerste full length verschijnt op 21 september. Tegelijk met de aankondiging hebben ze de track en album opener I Only Hurt The Ones I Love uitgebracht.

De uit Brighton afkomstige groep rond de opvallende frontvrouw Izzy B Philips, liet in 2015 voor het eerst van zich horen. Sindsdien leveren ze de ene na de andere ijzersterke track af en scoorden ze al hits met liedjes als All My Pride, Hello Today en Madonna.
Met hun uiterst aanstekelijke en energieke indierock vol branie in combinatie met de zoete en zwoele stem van Izzy, de slimme samenzangpartijen en hun must-see optredens, worden ze beschouwd als één van de grote beloftes van het moment.
Nederland
Ons land beleefde de eerste introductie van de band op het Metropolis Festival in 2015. Maar de bal ging pas echt rollen nadat ze veel indruk maakten op Eurosonic ’16 en daar al snel the talk of the town waren. Daarna volgden optredens in het clubcircuit en op o.a. London Calling, Vestrock en Dauwpop.
