King King heeft 6 oktober hun vierde studio album Exile & Grace uitgebracht via Manhaton Records / Bertus. Het album bevat onder andere (She Don’t) Gimme No Lovin’ en de nieuwe single Broke.
Exile & Grace is King Kings eerste studioalbum sinds Reaching For The Light uit 2015 dat in de UK meerdere awards wist te winnen. Zo werden er in 2016 maar liefst vijf British Blues Awards gewonnen voor Best Male Vocal (Alan Nimmo), Best Bass Player (Lindsay Coulson), Best Song (Rush Hour), Best Album (Reaching for the Light) en Best Songwriter.
King Kings frontman en gitarist, Alan Nimmo, verwoord het als volgt: “Exile & Grace definitely has a rockier feel and sound to it. We are following our influences from the Classic Rock genre, Bad Company, Whitesnake and Thunder. We set out to challenge ourselves with this album. We’ve stepped up the quality of song writing and pushed ourselves physically in both performance and delivery!”
