Spirit is de 14de studioalbum van de Engelse band Depeche Mode en verschijnt op 17 maart 2017. Het album is geproduceerd door James Ford die ook al eerder samenwerkte met Arctic Monkeys. De eerste singe is Where’s the Revolution.
Het was tijd voor verandering, aldus frontman Dave Gahan: “We worked with Ben Hillier as a producer on the last few records and it was time for us to change that up. James came in fresh, he had no real agenda. He’s not just a great producer, he’s a great musician. So he was able to guide us, he was able to take the songs and take them to another level.”
