Voor het tweede jaar op rij was Pinguin Radio de openingsact van Lowlands. Op donderdag van 12:00 tot 18:00 uur draaiden Hans Vrijmoed en Gijs Vervliet zes uur lang plaatjes in de ArmadiLLOW, het 24-uursgebied op Lowlands. Ondanks dat er af en toe een bui viel was het al lekker druk en werden de eerste danspasjes gezet.
