Suede kondigt nieuw album getiteld The Blue Hour aan. Het album komt 21 september uit en is geproduceerd en gemixt door Alan Moulder in de Assault & Battery Studios.
Het album is net zoals Night Thoughts geschreven als een doorlopend verhaal, ook al zijn het 14 individuele tracks, ze zijn thematisch gelinkt aan elkaar op het album. Het album bevat een koor en spoken word, wat de nummers een unieke sound geeft.
De band zei het volgende over het nieuwe album: “The Blue Hour is the time of day when the light is fading and night is closing in. The songs hint at a narrative but never quite reveal it and never quite explain. But as with any Suede album, it’s always about the songwriting. The band, the passion and the noise: The Blue Hour”.
Daarnaast heeft de band ook nog een Europese tour aangekondigd. De band gaat via Brussel en Amsterdam naar Milaan, Kopenhagen en Londen. Gwenno zal de shows openen tijdens deze Europese tour.
