Amber Run – Neon Circus

Onlangs kondigde de Engelse indierock band Amber Run hun nieuwe album Philophobia aan. Deze derde langspeler verschijnt op 27 september.

De bekendmaking van Philophobia ging samen met de release van hun tweede track Neon Circus. Het is een intense rockplaat die heerlijk uit te speakers knalt en die vervolgens op een typische Amber Run manier wordt afgebouwd.

Over Neon Nircus zegt frontman Joe Keough: “Neon Circus is a song about getting the fuck off your phone. Nothing meaningful happens with your head titled downwards towards your black mirror. It’s  a song that is a call to action to be there with us.”

Amber Run kondigt derde album aan

De Britse indierock band Amber Run heeft afgelopen vrijdag hun nieuwe album Philophobia aangekondigd. Deze derde langspeler verschijnt op 27 september. Eerder die maand, namelijk op de 19e, zijn ze te zien in de Melkweg, Amsterdam.

Tegelijk met de albumaankondiging, heeft het drietal de single Affection uitgebracht.

Frontman Joe Keogh zegt hierover: “I hope after people have heard the record they feel closer to the band. Gone are the days where we feel angry to the point of pushing people away. We want to draw people in and keep them close. In the hope we could have a shared experience.”
