De Grammywinnende countryzangeres Lee Ann Womack komt 27 oktober met haar nieuwe album The Lonely, The Lonesome And The Gone. Op dit album – geproduceerd door Womacks man Frank Lidell – speelt Womack met invloeden uit country, soul, gospel en blues.
Voor het album ging Womack op zoek naar de echte sound van Texas. “I wanted to get out of Nashville, and tap the deep music and vibe of East Texas. I wanted to make sure this record had a lot of soul in it, because real country music has soul. I wanted to remind people of that.” Luister alvast naar de eerste single All The Trouble.
