The Irrational Library kondigt nieuw album aan

The Irrational Library is een bijzondere band, met een Joodse dichter uit New York, een bassist / multi talent uit het Midden-Oosten en een stads dominee, opererend vanuit Haarlem. De soul jazz funk met een high energy punkrock vibe doet het goed van rokerige jazzkelders tot zweterige punkholen en koude krakerspanden. Naast de band is de Irrational Library ook een winkel en organiseert Joshua Irrational Library poetry- en rock n roll avonden.

Dig in! And Get Down! The Irrational Library uit ‘Haarlemtown’, Holland, brengt op 20 september hun tweede album Everything at All Times and All Things at Once uit.

Maar wat is het?

“Well, it’s spokensoul-rocknroll-funkedupfreedom-boogieforyourbrains-partyprotestmusic!”,Aldus frontman Joshua Baumgarten. “It’s what you get when an expat American Jewish Poet, a Protestant Stadsdominee, a lapsed Muslim musical multitalent and a Dutch guy with a penchant for weird word puns walk onto a stage… The one and only Irrational Library.”

Everything at All Times and All Things at Once is de opvolger van het in 2017 verschenen debuut Now That We Still Can. Sindsdien stond de band twee keer op Le Mini Who?, Bevrijdingspop Haarlem en speelde ze shows dwars door Europa van kleine ‘arthouse venues’ tot aan de grote zalen.

The Irrational Library bestaat uit frontman Joshua Baumgarten, baritonsaxofonist en gitarist Tom de Haan, Mishal Zeera op bas en drummer Lars van der Weiden.

Op 20 september presenteert The Irrational Library hun nieuwe album in The Wolfhound Irish Pub in Haarlem.
