Melodische punkrockband Sneurf brengt debuutalbum P.A.R.A. uit

Sneurf, de melodische punkrockband die vorig jaar razendsnel de finale van de Amsterdamse Popprijs (Melkweg) haalde, heeft afgelopen vrijdag hun debuutalbum P.A.R.A. uitgebracht.

Het album, met tracks als Mastah, Contagious en Crossroads, is Sneurf’s directe reactie op een tijd die gek maakt als je niet oplet. Waar anderen verdwalen in de chaos, zoekt Sneurf de uitweg in energie en collectieve ontlading. Samenzingen, moshen, stagediven en een kapot intense live-show zijn hun remedie.

In de nummers en teksten wordt gestoordheid en drive bewust ingezet tegen onzekerheid, tegen het gevoel niet mee te kunnen en tegen de strijd om overeind te blijven in een wereld die altijd te hard gaat. In de eerste single Mastah woedt een psychologische machtsstrijd tussen de hoofdpersoon en een mysterieuze poppenspeler die onder je huid en in je hersenpan kruipt. Wie neemt de controle? Wie wordt wie de baas?

Sneurf werd in 2024 opgericht en bestaat uit leadzanger Ingo (23), gitarist Sil (21), basgitarist Ralf (21) en drummer Thor (21). De vier leerden elkaar kennen op PACT+, hun gezamenlijke muziekschool, en merkten al snel op dezelfde frequentie te zitten: gek doen op het podium, harmonie in chaos en harde muziek die niet om toestemming vraagt.

P.A.R.A. brengt melodische hardcore en grunge samen in meerstemmige zang, gitaarsolo’s, moshpit-waardige breakdowns en ongefilterde vocale uithalen. Dit is geen album om alleen te luisteren, dit is een album om te voelen en om live te beleven. Een album dat je niet alleen thuis of in de auto, maar ook op het podium moet luisteren.

De vier singles van Billbunker uit 2025

Voor de Utrechtse rockband Billbunker was 2025 een goed jaar. In januari speelde de band op het Pinguin Radio showcase festival tijdens Eurosonic Noorderslag. In de herfst werden maar liefst vier singles in twee maanden, allen in eigen beheer opgenomen, de streamingdiensten opgeslingerd.

Cover Me, een stevige doorbeuker, werd gevolgd door Today, een ode aan oude vrienden.

Via Pinguin Radio-partner MusisuM bracht de band de ballad Pure Joy (Charlie’s Song) uit. Het is een rustpunt in het Billbunker-oeuvre, en bekijkt een relatiebreuk nu eens vanuit een ander perspectief.

Met een heuse, maar allesbehalve suikerzoete kerstsingle (Santa’s Blacklist) neemt Billbunker afscheid van 2025. Op naar het nieuwe jaar vol hoogtepunten!

De Sneurf bandleden sprongen 80 jaar geleden uit een brandend oorlogsvliegtuig. Met een noodvaart raasden ze naar beneden en ze belandden in een onbekend weiland. Door de enorme klap raakten de heren in een coma.
Nu, 80 jaar later, zijn zij wakker geworden. De enorme impact heeft ervoor gezorgd dat de Sneurfers wakker zijn geworden met de P.A.R.A stoornis. Hierdoor zijn ze compleet gestoord geworden. In een waas van woede en energie stormen ze het land door, op zoek naar meer gekken die hun energie kunnen overnemen. Hausse Releases Official Music Video for ‘Melbourne’ Following the Track’s Surprising Streaming Success

Following the successful release of their single Melbourne (May 22), Hausse will premiere the official video on July 10th 21.00 CET on their YouTube channel. Within just a few weeks, the track surpassed all of the band’s previous streaming numbers and has been holding a Top 10 position in the Dutch Indie Chart, which even caught the band by surprise.
Produced and directed by the band, the video captures the song’s essence: dreamy, raw, and visually striking. Think melancholy, gritty shots, and subtle nods to the things left unsaid.
Over the past few weeks, the band shared behind-the-scenes clips and teasers on social media, giving fans and followers a nice look into the creative process. With Melbourne, Hausse proves how well their music pairs with visuals and all while staying true to their DIY roots.

Tyler Ramerion keert krachtig terug met nieuw album Different Heaven

Na een stilte sinds zijn single Let’s Get Back Together is Tyler Ramerion terug met een nieuw album. Zonder grote aankondiging, zonder poespas. Maar wat een plaat.

Different Heaven voelt als een natuurlijk vervolg op zijn vorige album Am I Lost?, Or Am I Found?, maar met meer rust en volwassenheid. De songs klinken fris, afwisselend en oprecht. Geen herhaling, geen overbodige franje. Van het lichtvoetige Deja Vu tot het breekbare I’m Still Here en het indringende Can’t Let You Go – elk nummer staat stevig op zichzelf, maar samen vertellen ze een verhaal van groei, verlies en opnieuw beginnen.

Ramerion bewijst opnieuw dat hij gevoel, melodie en vakmanschap perfect weet te combineren. Het enige dat je hem kunt verwijten is dat hij er niet nog een paar nummers aan toegevoegd heeft.

The Boheme launch new single

Danceable rock with a British sound – that’s Always Out At Midnight, the brand-new single by The Boheme, out on May 23. The track was mixed by Barny Barnicott (Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, Sam Fender), one of the UK’s leading mixers and producers.

A British twist
“To match the sound we had in mind, we decided to have the track mixed in England. We looked for producers who had worked with our favorite artists – and that’s how we found Barny Barnicott. Barny added exactly the right British twist to our music.”
The track was then mastered by Tim Debney (The Libertines, Kasabian, Fratellis).
