Opgenomen door Cornell in 2016 bevat het album, dat zijn laatste volledig voltooide studioalbum is, zijn vertolkingen van John Lennons Watching The Wheels, Ghostland Observatory’s Sad Sad City, Harry Nilssons Jump Into The Fire, Carl Hall’s You Don’t Know Nothing About Love, Electric Light Orchestra’s Showdown, Terry Reids To Be Treated Rite, Stay With Me Baby van Lorraine Ellison, Get It While You Can, gepopulariseerd door Janis Joplin, en een nieuwe studio-opname van Nothing Compares 2 U, geschreven door Prince. Chris cover van Guns & Roses’ Patience, die dit jaar op zijn verjaardag werd uitgebracht en hem zijn eerste solo Billboard nummer 1 op de Mainstream Rock Songs-hitlijst opleverde, staat ook op het album.
Alle instrumenten op No One Sings Like You Anymore werden bespeeld door Chris Cornell en Brendan O’Brien, die ook het album produceerden en mixten. De Cornell-familie hoopt dat nieuwe fans en luisteraars zullen worden geïnspireerd door zijn krachtige en unieke stem in deze fraaie set vertolkingen.
