Donderdag van 9 tot 10 ’s avonds hoor je op Musicmaker Radio muziek die bij Musicmaker.nl hoort, het online magazine voor de muzikant.

Het Musicmaker Event Spotlight richten we vandaag op ESNS. Het programma van Eurosonic Noorderslag is compleet en daarom is vandaag alle muziek in deze uitzending op dat vierdaagse evenement in Groningen gericht, dat plaatsvindt van 15 tot 18 januari. We laten uitsluitend Nederlandse en Belgische acts horen, zoals jullie van ons gewend zijn. Opvallend veel bands die vanuit de Popronde doorrollen naar ESNS, trouwens, zoals Future Husband, Min Taka, Bug, Heath en Iris Jean.

Woensdag om 19:00 uur Discords Radio #79

Alles draait om muziek! Dat merk je direct als je Discords.nl aan de Lange Hezelstraat 32 in Nijmegen bezoekt. Vanuit onze passie voor het ontdekken, ervaren en verzamelen van muziek, bouwen wij (Renate, Rene en Roland) een platenzaak met nieuwe en tweedehands vinyl en CD’s; met gevestigde namen en aanstormend talent; met veel moois voor muzikale omnivoren en audiofiele fijnproevers.

Samen met het team van Pinguin Radio stappen wij in het avontuur om wekelijks een uurtje kikke muziek uit te zenden. Benieuwd naar onze ‘Everbody Wants To Be A DJ’-capriolen? Dinsdagavond om 22:00 uur Heaven Radio #455

Pinguin Radio en Popmagazine Heaven delen twee belangrijke eigenschappen: een passie voor goede muziek en een volstrekt onafhankelijke opstelling. Dat moest natuurlijk tot een samenwerking leiden.

Heaven verzorgt iedere dinsdagavond van 22:00 tot 23:00 een uur lang de muziek op Pinguin Radio. Net als Pinguin heeft Heaven oor voor – bijna – alle popmuziek. In het uurtje radio hoor je muziek uit verschillende genres: (classic)rock, roots, folk, soul, world, jazz en blues.

Liefhebbers van Heaven Radio luisteren natuurlijk ook naar ons zachtere zusje Pinguin Pluche.

An energizing rock ‘n’ roll journey – Marcus Magnusson releases sophomore album

Marcus Magnusson is a Swedish artist who writes songs that are energizing and uplifting, songs with a rock ‘n’ roll attitude.

He has now released his second full length album, titled ‘The Road So Far’. This album starts off with a one-two punch from high energy rock songs ‘Brick by Brick’ and ‘Play it Loud’. Both songs previously released as singles that were well received, charting on independent music top lists and on rotation on several FM-radio stations.
Marcus is not afraid to try different things, drawing inspiration mainly from classic rock and punk, but also borrows from latin sounds and Americana on his journey to beautiful acoustic album closer ‘Flow of Time’.

The album is a celebration to rock ‘n’ roll music, with an attitude and messages to match.
