I Am Lotus
Formed with an interest in psychedelic, Afro and folk music, I Am Lotus combines the Western music with a twist of Afro sound and psychedelic melodies. Armed with high-energy love songs, I Am Lotus will play with the drive to facilitate a dancing scene where cultures and gender are merged into one giant dancing lotus flower.
Solomon
Solomon Armed with dreamy melodies and a driving rhythm section, the 5-piece, Maastricht-based band Solomon takes you to a place of musical rapture, with compelling vocals offering comfort with each and every listen. The band offers a blend of hopeful sounds, with just a touch of sadness to really scratch that melancholy itch. In the past year, Solomon managed to create quite a buzz with performances in and around Limburg, resulting in an ever increasing and passionate fanbase, several very promising reviews and TV, Live stream and Radio appearances . “Catchy songs with an international allure.” – Maxazine.nl “Their stage presence is characterised by calm, grace and passion. Solomon manages to achieve just the right balance, easily enthralling the audience for 45 minutes straight.” – 3voor12 “A band to bow deeply for.” – Muziekgieterij Solomon consists of self-taught musicians from the local band scene, as well as musicians who have been formally trained in the United States, Israel and Germany. Evidently, Solomon is truly an international bunch, brought together through the local music scene in Maastricht. In addition to various live registrations, Solomon recorded her debut EP “Endless” in 2020. The 1st single from the EP “Brighter Day” was released in July of that year. With the release of their second single “All These Lights” on November 13, the Maastricht band’s debut EP is complete and can be listened to via the online streaming services. In addition, the band produced the song “Life Line” in splendid isolation for the regional project Home Grown, which can be heard on YouTube.
Christopher Green
