Pinguin Radio presenteert om 22:00 uur Heaven Radio #359

Pinguin Radio en Popmagazine Heaven delen twee belangrijke eigenschappen: een passie voor goede muziek en een volstrekt onafhankelijke opstelling. Dat moest natuurlijk tot een samenwerking leiden.

Heaven verzorgt iedere dinsdagavond van 22:00 tot 23:00 een uur lang de muziek op Pinguin Radio. Net als Pinguin heeft Heaven oor voor – bijna – alle popmuziek. In het uurtje radio hoor je muziek uit verschillende genres: (classic)rock, roots, folk, soul, world, jazz en blues.

Liefhebbers van Heaven Radio luisteren natuurlijk ook naar ons zachtere zusje Pinguin Pluche.

In de januari-februari editie van Musicmaker vind je weer tal van artikelen die je als muzikant of producer zal inspireren! Zoals het cover-interview met Candy Dulfer vanwege haar nieuwe album. Vedran Mircetic was hoofdgast op ons event Amsterdam Guitar Heaven. Hij wijdt uit over hoe de sounds van De Staat tot stand komen. We testen in deze editie de Guild Surfliner gitaar, Ableton’s Note app, een kleine Fender amp, Orange gitaareffecten, een Akai MPC met toetsen en meer! Verder: studiotips van Guido Aalbers, Poprondetips van Chris Moorman, de studio van Charlotte Wessels en Bianca Vrind van Ivyvox.

Ik vond het een heel vet idee om dat te doen, maar dan met nieuwe songs die één lang verhaal vertellen dat ook weer alle kanten op vliegt. Nu we het live spelen, merk ik dat het zó vrij is. Pinguin Vintage gaat verbreden, want vanaf vandaag niet alleen meer 50’s, 60’s en 70’s, maar wordt er muziek van 40 jaar en ouder gedraaid. Vintage stapt dus de jaren ’80 in en elk jaar komt er een jaartje bij. Oftewel meer muziek = meer muziekgenot!

Pinguin Vintage Radio draait 24/7 liedjes van 40 jaar en ouder met veel aandacht voor de vergeten hit(je)s, elpeetracks, de American Billboard en onbekende liedjes die het waard zijn om gehoord te worden veelvuldig aangevuld met natuurlijk de grote hits.
