The Dutch psychedelic rock band Dan Green & the Mystery Machine once again introduces us to their sound with a second single ‘Soft Touch’: a dreamy love ballad about sickness and a love that couldn’t be.
With the song, the band explores their sensitive side without forgetting to engage the necessary fuzz pedals. The new single and respective album combines classic psychedelia with garage rock and shoegaze. With a wet load of effects, heavy guitars and carefully crafted harmonic vocals, the band puts out a powerful song which sounds heavy yet accessible.
Dan Green & the Mystery Machine is a young, independent band which consists of Daan Kleijnen, Daniel van Boom, Roan Grasmeijer, Sydney Harnisch and Mees Blankevoort. ‘Soft Touch’ follows the release of their first single ‘The River’. The album will appear early 2024 under their self- run label Eroded Harmonics.
