Oh Hazar – The Best

Voorzichtig behandelen!

YME Unveils Empowering New Anthem ‘Love Yourself’

With her latest release, ‘Love Yourself’, YME delivers an inspiring message of self-empowerment and personal growth.

In the ever-evolving world of music, YME stands out as a voice of authenticity and resilience. This independent artist from The Netherlands brings personal stories to life through her music, and ‘Love Yourself’ is no exception. Diagnosed with autism at a young age, YME has channeled her life experiences into a compelling musical journey that inspires others to embrace their own paths.

‘Love Yourself’ is an introspective track that speaks to the themes of self-discovery, freedom, and mental well-being.

YME’s goal with this song is to encourage listeners to find strength within themselves and to recognize the importance of self-appreciation. As she puts it, “To truly flourish, one must first embrace and cherish oneself.”
This philosophy is at the heart of the song, urging individuals to take the center stage in their life’s narrative.Influenced by the reflective soundscape of artist Ari Abdul, ‘Love Yourself’ offers a soulful melody that perfectly complements YME’s heartfelt lyrics.

With Marco Roosink’s adept production skills, the track delivers an engaging and resonant listening experience.’Love Yourself’ is now available on all major streaming platforms. YME invites listeners from around the globe to experience the uplifting spirit of her newest release, a testament to the power of embracing oneself.

An energizing rock ‘n’ roll journey – Marcus Magnusson releases sophomore album

Marcus Magnusson is a Swedish artist who writes songs that are energizing and uplifting, songs with a rock ‘n’ roll attitude.

He has now released his second full length album, titled ‘The Road So Far’. This album starts off with a one-two punch from high energy rock songs ‘Brick by Brick’ and ‘Play it Loud’. Both songs previously released as singles that were well received, charting on independent music top lists and on rotation on several FM-radio stations.
Marcus is not afraid to try different things, drawing inspiration mainly from classic rock and punk, but also borrows from latin sounds and Americana on his journey to beautiful acoustic album closer ‘Flow of Time’.

The album is a celebration to rock ‘n’ roll music, with an attitude and messages to match. Simply on of the “must listens” this year from the independent music scene.”- I think this album shows a lot of my artistic diversity, while always standing firm in rock ‘n’ roll tradition” Marcus says about the album.

Preachers of the Pines; a Contemporary Urban Folk Album from Danish Indie Artist Bjarke Ramsing

Bjarke Ramsing’s latest full-length studio album joins a new generation of contemporary folk music, valuing the craft of more complex arrangements and poignant story-telling.

On the 25th of October 2024 Bjarke Ramsing is releasing his fourth studio album Preachers of the Pines. The album is a celebration of music across borders. Bridging a gab between his musical career in Denmark and the Netherlands.

Preachers of the Pines will be available on vinyl and all major streaming sites such as Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Youtube, Bandcamp, etc.

The album explores a universe of contemporary urban folk tales. Creating a new line of stories, spun from the well of dreams and make-believes and actual encounters. Preachers of the Pines tell tales of hermit kings, magical islands, roaring seas, open roads, fuelled worlds, dancing fools, crippled religions, failures and transformation. And dives into an array of good intentions gone astray.

The album is on one side just a classical acoustic folk album. But also pushes the envelope and morphs from beautiful harmonious folk ballads to jazzy instrumentals, over pumping rock ballads and further dwells into a long patchwork of roaring, gritty and droney explosion. That more makes one think of what stoner rock would have sounded like had it been played on acoustic instruments.

As a base the album features Bjarke’s Dutch quartet with Teun van Langen on double bass, Floris Venema on drums and Annelies Jonkers on violin. On harmonies the album is supported by Dutch Ruud Fieten and Romee Cooler from Holi Fools and Ari Bombari from Legiana. From Denmark the album features Lasse and Mikkel Krammer from Bare Orchestra on backing vocals and mandolin. And to tie it all together Simon Krindel on grand piano and keys.

Besides some local recording sessions in Denmark, the album was largely recorded and mixed in Bjarke’s own small studio in Arnhem (NL). Mastering was done by Wytse Gerichhausen from White Sea Studio. And the artwork of the record was created by Mirka Farabegoli who sought inspiration in the lyrics and by diving into the bizarre history of ornamental hermits.
