Donderdag om 21:00 uur Musicmaker Radio #86

Donderdag van 9 tot 10 ’s avonds hoor je op Musicmaker Radio muziek die bij de nieuwste editie van Musicmaker hoort, het magazine voor de muzikant.

In de november-december editie van Musicmaker vind je weer tal van artikelen die je als muzikant of producer zal inspireren! Met daarin de volgende onderwerpen.

  • De Nederlandse taal is alom aanwezig in de muziek, ook in deze editie van Musicmaker: van Boudewijn de Groot tot De Toegift en WIES. Het wemelt bovendien van nieuw talent: lees onze verhalen over de bands en artiesten in de Popronde, die momenteel ieder weekend een aantal steden aandoet.
  • Kan muziekdistributie beter? Bij Make Waves vinden ze van wel! Een gesprek met de oprichters. En we duiken in de HBO- en MBO-muziekopleidingen. Binnenkort zijn er weer Open Dagen, dus als je een plannetje hebt…

Ook Haarlem krijgt een eigen Pinguin Hotspot: Slachthuis

Na Groningen, Nijmegen, Den Haag krijgt ook Haarlem een Pinguin Hotspot! Het idee blijft hetzelfde, bands en artiesten krijgen van ons een podium en het is aan hen om het publiek mee te krijgen en claps te verzamelen. Dit zijn voorrondes voor de Penguin Showcases tijdens ESNS in januari 2024.

Slachthuis (op het toepasselijke ‘Rockplein’) is dé muziekfabriek van Haarlem. Het is een plek voor alle muzikanten om te werken, of je nou professioneel bent of beginnend. Diverse repetitie- en lesruimtes, twee opnamestudio’s, een podium, een café, een vinylpers voor het snijden van kleine oplages vinyl en een zeefdruk voor het drukken van merchandise. Elke dag wordt er bij Slachthuis gewerkt door muzikanten, worden er lessen en cursussen gegeven, zijn er workshops en niet onbelangrijk elke vrijdag en zaterdag liveoptredens op ons podium.

Dinsdagavond om 22:00 uur Heaven Radio #393

Pinguin Radio en Popmagazine Heaven delen twee belangrijke eigenschappen: een passie voor goede muziek en een volstrekt onafhankelijke opstelling. Dat moest natuurlijk tot een samenwerking leiden.

Heaven verzorgt iedere dinsdagavond van 22:00 tot 23:00 een uur lang de muziek op Pinguin Radio. Net als Pinguin heeft Heaven oor voor – bijna – alle popmuziek. In het uurtje radio hoor je muziek uit verschillende genres: (classic)rock, roots, folk, soul, world, jazz en blues.

Liefhebbers van Heaven Radio luisteren natuurlijk ook naar ons zachtere zusje Pinguin Pluche.
