Woensdag om 20:00 uur CHAOS Music Magazine Radio #144

CHAOS is net zo eigenwijs als de muziek die we bespreken. We hebben muziek graag rauw, buiten de lijntjes en eigenwijs. Bij ons hoor je vooral alternatieve, postpunk, singer-songwriters en indie. Wekelijks laat redacteur Evelyne Gorter je een selectie muziek horen waar wij warm voor lopen.

Voor postpunkband Baaf is er afgelopen vrijdag tijdens de Pinguin Radio Showcase in Slachthuis Haarlem het meest geclapped! 👏 Zij krijgen dus een plek op Pinguin Radio Showcases in Groningen tijdens ESNS. Gefeliciteerd! Dat kan zomaar een enorme stap in hun muzikale dromen betekenen.

“Het was sowieso een geweldige avond met drie sterkspelende, veelbelovende bands in een zaal die een super sfeer uitstraalt”, aldus de manager van een van de spelende bands.

Dinsdagavond om 22:00 uur Heaven Radio #396

Pinguin Radio en Popmagazine Heaven delen twee belangrijke eigenschappen: een passie voor goede muziek en een volstrekt onafhankelijke opstelling. Dat moest natuurlijk tot een samenwerking leiden.

Heaven verzorgt iedere dinsdagavond van 22:00 tot 23:00 een uur lang de muziek op Pinguin Radio. Net als Pinguin heeft Heaven oor voor – bijna – alle popmuziek. In het uurtje radio hoor je muziek uit verschillende genres: (classic)rock, roots, folk, soul, world, jazz en blues.

Liefhebbers van Heaven Radio luisteren natuurlijk ook naar ons zachtere zusje Pinguin Pluche.

Drie nieuwe Penguin Artists op het podium van De Drie Gezusters in Groningen. Zoals je van ons gewend bent, hebben we weer een leuke selectie gemaakt van drie totaal verschillende acts.

Zorg dus dat je erbij bent, vanaf 20:30 uur ‘s avonds tot de late uurtjes. De entree is zoals altijd gratis en neem je handen mee want er moet geclapt worden! De winnaar van de avond krijgt zoals het hoort een plekje op Pinguin Radio Showcases tijdens ESNS.

The heavy sound of Traversus passes through the regions of progressive rock and metal. The 4-piece group from the east of the Netherlands is inspired by bands like Dream Theater, Leprous, Trivium and Muse. Lead singer and guitarist Madelief de Groot voices sharp criticism of human behaviour and lays bare her own emotions.

 


21:30 Mister E & The Mysteries

Introducing Mister E & the Mysteries, an electrifying rock band hailing from the Netherlands. Their music seamlessly blends the timeless rock sounds of the previous century with a contemporary twist, resulting in a sound that’s both nostalgic and refreshing. The group takes you on a nostalgic journey to the glorious age of live shows, a time where thundering drums and soaring guitar leads defined the essence of each performance.

Four polder boys bringing back the 80’s new wave sound all over again in a new, own style. A tight drummer, a laid-back bassist, a dreamy guitarist and an energetic vocalist: The Meadows. Sounds like: U2, The Cure & Kings of Leon.
